The Gate Opens 3rd Restaurant – The Gate Seymour Place
Following on from the Hammersmith and Islington restaurants, this central restaurant will serve up classic dishes such as the green banana fritters, aubergine teriyaki and plantain chips and green dragon. New additions will include a three-way filled globe artichoke, aubergine schnitzel and wild mushroom rotolo. It’ll also be the first of The Gate restaurants to serve breakfast. Start the day with scrambled tofu with smoky shiitake mushrooms; bagels with avocado and poached eggs; egg white and spinach omelette with avocado and toasted sunflower seed salad and pots of chia, banana and dates with halva and sweet pecans.
As natural, healthy eating is the order of the day they’ll be offering freshly made juices and non-alcoholic cocktails. For those wanting something stronger then there’ll be jalapeno margaritas and a more festive quince and vanilla margarita as well as sustainably sourced wines.
